I’m honored to introduce myself as your new state senator for California’s 19th Senate District. It’s a privilege to represent such a vibrant and diverse region, one made up of hardworking families, local businesses, educators, students, and community leaders who care deeply about the future of our state.
Whether we’ve crossed paths before or this is our first connection, know this: I am here to listen, to serve, and to act. As your senator, I see my role not just as a policymaker in Sacramento, but as your advocate, someone you can rely on when you need help with state services or want your voice heard on the issues that matter the most to you.
Navigating state agencies can sometimes feel overwhelming. My team is here to cut through that red tape. Whether you need assistance with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), the Employment Development Department (EDD), or another state agency, we’re ready to step in and support you. We also hold mobile office hours and town halls across the district to bring state government closer to you.
Every community in this district has unique needs, and my job is to make sure Sacramento doesn’t treat them with a one-size-fits-all approach. I’ll be working to strengthen public education, improve access to affordable housing, support small businesses, fight to improve the affordability crisis and ensure public safety.
My team and I are committed to thoroughly examining issues, concentrating on the root of the problem instead of just addressing the surface. I strongly believe in implementing accountability measures to ensure that the state does not waste millions of dollars on programs that fail to produce results.
Real change starts with real conversations. That’s why I’m inviting you to reach out, whether it’s at a community event, through social media, or by contacting my office. Share your ideas, concerns, and priorities. I want to hear from you because the best policies are built from the ground up.
You can sign up for email updates and find out about upcoming town halls or mobile office events by visiting my website, www.senate.ca.gov/ochoabogh. I’ll also be posting updates on social media, so make sure to follow me on Facebook, Instagram and X using the handle @senochoabogh. I encourage you to follow along and stay engaged.
This is a new chapter for Senate District 19, and I’m genuinely excited for the work ahead. With your input and partnership, we can create lasting, positive change for our communities.
Thank you for the privilege of serving as your senator.
