Media Advisory - Senator Ochoa Bogh introduces legislation to Improve Safety for Individuals with Disabilities

Senator Ochoa Bogh (R-Yucaipa) will hold a press conference on Wednesday, March 26 to discuss her legislation, Senate Bill 664, which would create a statewide Blue Envelope Program. Already in use in some counties, the program helps law enforcement personnel communicate effectively with individuals who have autism, intellectual disabilities, or other communication challenges during traffic stops, emergencies, and routine service calls.
